Also called Hawes Campground. Operated by the NPS. This is the end of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways on the Current River. **NOTE** The NPS started charging a $5 camping fee per night April 15th, 2004 at Gooseneck Campground. Stays are limited to 14 days, with a maximum of 6 people, 2 tents and 2 vehicles per site.

It is located off of Highway "Y" approximately 4.5 miles north of Highway 160. There is a parking lot and restroom at the boat landing. Fee charged.
- MILE MARKER 120.3* Float Camp - ELECTRIC SITES FOR RVers Mark Twain National Forest campground, picnic area, pavilion, and swimming area located on the east side of Current River about 5 river miles upstream from the U.S. 160 bridge over Current River. It is located off of Highway "Y" approximately 4 miles north of Highway 160. No boat ramp. Camping and day use fee charged. Make reservations here. Also, KC's on the Current is the Commissionaire for the camp sites at Float Camp.
- MILE MARKER 120.3* Dunrovin (No Website) - Mark Twain National Forest picnic area, boat ramp, and river access located on the west side of Current River about 4 river miles upstream from the U.S. 160 bridge over Current River. Access from Highway 160 2.5 miles west of the bridge over Current River to County Road 160 W 7. Take CR 160 W 7 one-half mile to Forest Service road on the right which goes about 1 mile to the site. No fee.

NOTE: For those floaters/campers who wish to truly experience the wild, Backcountry (primitive) camping is permitted by the NPS on gravel bars along the river at no charge. Please keep a clean camp and bury human waste at least 100 feet from the river. Collect only down and dead wood for campfires. This is TOTAL SECLUSION from the real world, for that no houses can be built along or near any part of the river within this protected Wild & Scenic River. Take higher ground in the case of a heavy rain due to flash flooding.
